Kateřina Englichová and Vilém Veverka play their instruments in a unique way and offer the audiences all over the world spellbinding interpretations of even the most demanding parts. Kateřina Englichová is one of the leading European harpists of our time. After studying at the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia and winning a number of international competitions in the USA (Pro Musicis Award, Concerto Soloists) and Italy (TIM Ing. Competition), she decided to focus entirely on a soloist career. For several years she performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra, where she had the opportunity to work with the conductors Simon Rattle, Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Mutti, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Michael Tilson Thomas, Seiji Ozawa and others. She participated in prestigious festivals such as, for example, Tanglewood, Red Sea Festival in Israel, Pacific Music Festival in Japan, Rencontres Musicales d´Evian in France, Prague Spring, Carinthischer Sommer in Austria. Kateřina Englichová is also a sought-after chamber partner – she has collaborated with Mstislav Rostropovich, Michael Kofler, Gerard Caussé, Ivan Ženatý and Vilém Veverka. Her extensive discography comprises over 30 CDs she has recorded for Supraphon and other labels. She has also interpreted contemporary music. Numerous composers have dedicated pieces to her (Sylvie Bodorová, Zdeněk Lukáš, Jan F. Fischer, Luboš Sluka, etc.).

Vilém Veverka is one of the most acclaimed Czech oboists. He studied at the Prague Conservatory (F.X.Thuri) and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (Liběna Séquardtová), and attended courses given by the renowned French oboist Jean-Louis Capezzali. His artistic development was crucially shaped by performing with the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester and his subsequent study with the prominent German oboist Dominik Wollenweber at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, to which he linked up by performing for two years with the renowned Berliner Philharmoniker (Karajan Stiftung). Furthermore, he was inspired by such outstanding oboists as Albrecht Mayer, Hansjörg Schellenberger, Maurice Bourgue and Heinz Holliger. The path he had pursued culminated in this triumph at one of the most prestigious oboe competitions – Tokyo/Sony Music Foundation (2003). As a soloist, he has performed with the leading Czech (Prague Philharmonia, Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, etc.) and foreign orchestras (Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Bayerisches Kammerorchester, Dohnányi Budafok Orchestra, etc.). He has recorded and performed in Czech premiere numerous exacting compositions from the second half of the 20th century (Bennet, Berio, Britten, Yun, Zimmermann), including Mark Kopelent´s concerto „A Few Minutes with an Oboist“. He is a soloist of the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, a founding member of the PhilHarmonia Octet Prague – a New Approach Ensemble, and an official player of the French company Buffet-Crampon. In 2009 he realized two CDs: Risonanza at Supraphon, B. Martinů Oboe concerto at Arco Diva.
